How we work: A process that is inclusive, easy and fun
There’s so much more to kitchen design than crunching measurements through a software program. It’s a time-honored art that takes skill, and intuition. Zobel & Co. Kitchens has decades of experience designing kitchens for new and existing homes—including historical renovations. We’ve earned a reputation for getting it right the first time because we take the time to ask the right questions, study your space, and bring ideas to the table that embody your vision.
With every client, we make the collaboration an extraordinary experience. When you work with Zobel & Co. Kitchens, we begin in our showroom, then visit you at your home. We listen. Observe. Take in the surroundings. We talk about how you use your space. We uncover the unique ways you express yourself, guided by our expertise and well-practiced intuition.
Then we come back to you with an exciting plan, designed inch-by-inch by an artisan to reflect a kitchen where you can instantly imagine all of the memories yet to be made. The quiet mornings with fresh coffee. The busy dinners with friends and family. The special occasions that mark life’s milestones. You’ll sense them all approaching from the moment you walk into your new space.
That’s what happens when a designer is determined to build a space you’ll love from the moment you first meet.
As a second-generation kitchen designer it’s hard to find a design challenge Arthur can’t meet. Starting his career in his father’s kitchen design showroom, Zobel Kitchens, in Westchester Co. NY, Arthur learned about the ins and outs of cabinet making, how wood and other materials work (or don’t work!) together, and how to meet a client’s vision for a beautiful kitchen with a design that functions flawlessly. The devil is in the details and Arthur knows the devil well. Moving on from Kitchens by Zobel in the late ‘80s, Arthur began designing for the tri-state area’s largest showroom, Majestic Kitchens.
Zobel & Co. Kitchens is his vision of bringing his design talent and the cabinetry he loves to an are that is full of inspiration, beauty, and character – Saratoga and the Adirondacks.
Marketing director. Bookkeeper. Office Manager. Lunch chef. Ginny’s career has been centered on marketing and brand management for small businesses, and is now focused on the “back of the house” and brand exposure at Zobel & Co. Kitchens.
Dacks (short for “Adirondacks”) is our showroom greeter who takes his job very seriously and insists on welcoming everyone who visits us. A “human lover”, Dacks is known to follow our visitors around and sit in on design meetings.
